My stuff.

posted Jun 03, 2018 19:47:53 by SteveHanson
The bottom drawer in my Borg Cube has just enough room for everything I need for my STA Game at Soonercon. At least the small stuff.
I'll be at Soonercon, Saturday 23 June, in OKC, at 1400.

Looks and sounds awesome! I probably won't be able to make it unfortunately, but I wish I could and I hope you have a good turnout!

Loving the Trek-flavoured box lables! You're giving me ideas...

If you zoom in, you can see the pencil box is labeled Analog Computer Module and the index card box is labeled Analog Data Module. The loose label is for water and us on sticky paper. I plan to get a bottle water at the con and put this label over the label on the bottle.

Native to the area, but I am doing charity work with the MDA that day. I have told every gamer I know of in the OKC area, so I hope you get a lot of interested people.

What is in the plastic boxes? Also, what sizes are those pencil/index card boxes and how did you get the labels on, just a glue stick? I really wanna copy those and do something like that. It looks so great.

Each plastic box contains 24 paper minis. I've not measured the boxes but the index cards are 3x5 and they fit well. The labels are printed on adhesive label paper. It comes in full sheet size and I cut out the pieces using a scrapbookers papercutter. The little bottles have labels too. I got the labels online and modified them to fit my needs.

The back of the character sheet. The graphics were downloaded from Continuing Mission and stripped from the PDF. This side has a picture, game rules for the species trait and the talents, plas the background. The charater sheet has also been laminated. We used acetate markers to mark the sheets.

Business card sized, laminated, equipment cards. This makes it easy to lose and find equipment. Weapons were held by the Head Security officer and isdued as needed.

Wow, that looks intense. A few questions. Do you own a laminating machine (I had one for while, super cheap from Amazon)? How did you get round laminated corners? Is this pregens for Cons or a recurring game? If recurring, how do you change Focuses or Values if it's laminated?

Yes, I own a laminater. $25.00 Scotch model from Walmart. I like having ls.inayed stuff, and this machine has paid for itself many times over.

The corners are cut with a corner punch, around $5.00 at Michaels.
I'm using it for both, convention games and my home campaign. If we gave to make changes, I have each sheet saved as a file and can change and print out new ones. Laminating is cheap. I can get 50 pouches for around $12.00, 24 cents apeice.

Just what I've been looking for. Would you perhaps be willing to share your source...pdf..link for the equipment cards? I too am a laminator...its mildly addictive and my players LOOOVE when I present laminated "stuff" for a session. Please and Thanks in advance.

I built the template in MS Publisher and printed out the cards on regularcardstock and cut them out with a scrapbooker's papercutter after lamination. I can make a PDF of the cards and put it up on my website if you'd like. If you have Publisher I can get you the pub file and you can add whatever you like. My set is pretty comprehensive.
