Conan Tiles

posted Apr 20, 2018 17:57:09 by Shran
Hi,

Has anyone purchased any of Conan tile sets yet? I am looking for a set that has preferably a variety of generic nature scenes, maybe some caves. I want to use it for Star Trek Adventures as away team sites.
So can anyone recommend a specific tile set?

Unfortunately, there are no preview images of all the tiles.

I found preview images on roll20: https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/bundle/20/conan-tile-set-bundle

Would be cool if they were also available in the shop here.

For the record:

* "Dens of Iniquity & Dangerous Streets" is too Conan-specific (which is of course not a bad thing if you play Conan)
* "Fields of Glory & Thrilling Encounters" has some outdoor rivers, mountains and some indoor tiles, plus an arena
* "Forbidden Places & Pits of Horror" has some great generic outdoor tiles like snow and jungle, also some tombs and dungeons
* "Perilous Ruins & Forgotten Cities" has mostly ruins (as the name implies) built of stone or wood

So as far as I can see, "Forbidden Places & Pits of Horror" is the most generic and as such the most compatible for Star Trek Adventures, and then either "Fields of Glory & Thrilling Encounters" or "Perilous Ruins & Forgotten Cities".

Maybe Modiphius is wary of publishing the whole image just in case it can be copied and then printed.

I have them on order at my LGS but they're not in yet.

Since I have seen the preview images from roll20, I have also ordered them, except for Dens of Iniquity & Dangerous Streets which is too Conan-specific.
