I'd say yes, too. Though it should be a typical Conan style adventure: characters can be very powerful in combat and all physical skills but don't expect them to have high social skills or something like Lord.
I'm currently running a one on one, and it's working fine. Some things like the group Momentum pool doesn't fail, but I feel like it will feel different when working with more than one player.. but that's about it. My Player went for a Cimmerian/Skald/Bard build, so he's far more social, and build up his "Stank-eye" attack and social more, and is doing quite well still... I ran him through the RPG-day adventure, and there was a memorable moment, when the Slaver Capitan commanded his pirates to attack the PC, and he warned them, "you're capitan sent you to die" and rolled awesome on his "Stank-eye" and got enough wounds, so I had the guy choose to brave the water than attack or stick around... and he ended up doing not as well on the next one but his cohorts took that one out... I have some (2) of the other PC's as DMPC's. Anyway, it's working well.
