Interesting , so there is no real purpose raising a sig skill stat above 15 or a non above 17? It's funny you can get a stat so high and it doesn't become supernatural (the special rule).

Well it still improves other skills based on the attribute and stuff thats based on the raw attribute (like bonus dice for ranged, CC, psywar, infowar) and also helps in situations where your GM might ask you to test not a skill but just an attribute maybe.
So I wouldn't say there is NO purpose to it...
Even the bonus dice for attacks don't get better after 16.
Also I don't see a way a player can get the supernatural special rule. Normally I wouldn't even notice but the dog face npc with a lower brawn attribute has supernatural 1 and a PC in my game with a brawn 15 before shifting doesn't even after shift . So it became a debate in our group about how it works. Considering a tag with a brawn 17 has supernatural 2.
I believe the confusion is because there doesn't seem to be an understandable system to gauge why npcs have some of the stats they have. The players feel less than happy that a npc with less skill and attribute has a better chance at accomplishing a task than they do just because they have supernatural special rule.
