First Fallout Terrain: TT Combat's Dinogas Filling Station

posted Aug 04, 2017 11:53:06 by RichardAllsebrook
Howdie folks, very much looking forward to the RPG coming out and in preparation I thought I'd have my first go at post apoc terrain starting with TT Combat's excellent Dinogas Filling Station.

Finished in a mixture of acrylics and oils - it's a simple to assemble kit with just the right amount of detail and will make a great starter base of operations for my PCs. Next on the bench is a 3x3 terrain board...

I've published a step by step build log with loads more pictures over on my blog: http://www.richbuilds.com/articles/build-review-tt-combats-dinogas-filling-station-28mm-mdf-wargames-terrain/

Happy gaming!

Spectacular! :D I would so rush out and get that kit right away, if it were available in the US ... and if I didn't already have several Plasticville gas stations (thanks to lot deals) as it was.

I love the grunge-work! Also, as per the design of the kit, I love the theme. I can totally see a dinosaur as a mascot for a fuel station (perhaps one of many station franchises that went defunct with the shortages in fuel, even before the Great War), and I could imagine an excuse to use some cheap plastic dinosaur toys to spruce up the station (some really big one on the roof behind the logo as a rooftop decoration, maybe some cheesy toy near the entrance posed to hold a sign, etc.).

Actually, now that I think about it, I want to re-brand one of my Plasticville stations into a "Dinogas" or "DINOCO" service station. :D
