Anyone here find it strange that Modiphius is going to the FaceBook page instead of here to ask questions?

so while reading the Wasteland Writeup (https://toneytower.wordpress.com/) I've been nocticing something of a trend
Taking to the un-official Fallout Wasteland Warfare Facebook page, which you can find here, Founder and Publisher of Modiphius Entertainment Chris Birch has started to seek out community feedback
each and every time the people over at Modiphius want something they go to the "unofficial Facebook page" sure we are a dedicated few here on the forum compared to the floods of users over at the Facebook page, but you would think that would at least throw us some bones now and again this IS their own forum and the lack of basically everything compared to the FB page is quit shocking

I simply see them going where it's easiest to get mass feedback.

I use both the Facebook page and the forum, so I see no real problem here, but that's just me.
And thanks for reading!

I get ya, i don't use the Facebook page myself but like i said i just find it off and i don't think we can claim the Quality angel to their Quantity but that said i myself would rather have ten people give me advice vs ten thousand

A fair point, but we need to remember that Modiphius are a company and thus, must appeal
to what the audience at large would like to see. For better or worse.

We are here and watching don't worry - we're answering questions there and in other forums and using the poll tool on facebook to get some feedback for the big survey coming this week. We are taking note of important discussions here so whilst we may not seem active we are don't worry.

IMHO, Facebook presence makes total sense. I'm just a little bit fanatic, so I've been checking out this forum fairly frequently -- but even so, it's probably not as often as I check out Facebook to see what my friends and family decide is share-worthy.

I figure there are MANY more people who frequent Facebook, are interested in Fallout, AND who potentially may pick up the game ... but haven't taken the step to sign up with a username and password for yet another specialized forum.

It's market strategy. Part of posting on facebook (or reddit, youtube, 4chan) primarily does two things: entices discussion and provides a channel to funnel new people into their consumer scope.

I think they did it to get away from DCP, Probably based on a tip from Bethesda.

I could use my Facebook profile pic but it would look close to Bishops.

I'm an older model synth, from before they had color profile pics.
