The Chronicler - A small Collection of Short Fiction

posted Feb 12, 2017 16:12:10 by Chronicler
Hi folks,
I´ve been a big fan of Mutant Chronicles since the beginning back in the early 90s. What really got me hooked on the Mutant Chronicles universe was the dense atmosphere which is partially created by the short fiction throughout the core rules and the supplements. And thanks to Chris, the 3rd edition took this up.
Almost three years ago I thought, what about writing some short fiction yourself? And as time permitted, I did exactly that. And now the time has come to share it with you, the fans of Mutant Chronicles.
So here is the result, a collection of short fiction called The Chronicler: The Chronicler Volume I
And for convenience sake you have got the choice between an ePub and a PDF.
I hope you´ll enjoy the stories as much as I do. And rest assure, I already have Volume II on my mind!

So stay tuned and have fun!

Greetings, where are you selling your book? Is there a sample to look at?

Hi ishannon5289,

You don´t have to "buy" the book. Simply use the link above: The Chronicler Volume I
It´s a fan submission, so it´s for free! ;-)

Have fun! :-)

Hi folks,

If you have any ideas or wishes for short fiction, please let me know. If it catches a spark I´ll develop it further. But please don´t expect me to deliver a story within the next 3-4 weeks, for I have a job, a wife and a life. Okay! ;-)
Thanks!!

So, stay tuned and let´s hope that Modiphius will give us some more Mutant Chronicles novels, that I would really like and die for! Maybe Chris or one of the team can give us a piece of rumour or gossip? :-)

Personally, I would love a story set during the Black Rot. Admittedly this is because I want to run a campaign set during this time.

Okay,

through different channels I got a bit of feedback. And apparently there is not one favorite,
but many. So one friend of mine said, his favorite story was Unawarded, another one said, he
really liked Family Business, and a third one said, A Lesson taught was the best.

I´m happy that different people like different stories. So what about you? Which story do you
like best? Please let me know!

Thanx very much!!

And stay tuned!
