Aye-aye! Can't wait! Will begin first session tomorrow evening!
Risk... risk is our business! That's what this starship is all about... that's why we're aboard her!

Huzzah! People were again asking me about when this would start and all I could say was "something something CBS something something delay."

Just got the playtest, reading it in my small cellphone. I need to know more about the challenge roll. Do we really have to score less than the target number? With a d20? I may be wrong, I think I am LOL

The initial setup is for the 24th Century, is there something for the USS Lexington?

Hey all, reading through the rules now, quite excited to get to playing.

Is there somewhere I should sign up to schedule a game, or is that still forthcoming? I know that we're doing the whole "living campaign" thing, so I assume there's a system we'll be following.

Just got the files and printing them now. Shouldn't take long for me to get a group run through the intro.

You're correct.

Target Number is your Attribute plus your Skill added together - so if Kirk is trying to punch a gangster, he'd use his Bravery attribute (10) and Security skill (3) added together as his Target Number (13). Each 13 or less is a Success, the more successes the better, and each Task has a difficulty which is how many successes you need to pass. D20s that roll 1 - or any d20 that rolls equal to or less than a relevant Focus for that Task - score 2 successes instead of 1.

Excited to see this in my inbox, but does anyone have an idea how frequently playtest packets/adventures are going to be released? Just trying to schedule games in you see.

This adventure is a basic intro, unconnected to the individual ships. It's to give a grounding in how the core rules work before we move forwards.
