Final preview feedback.

posted Nov 04, 2016 20:24:01 by SteveHanson
We need your help with helping spot any final errors in this version. We've fixed all the reported and confirmed errors from previous reports. Now's your chance to help improve the book further before we go to print. We'll be doing our own professional proof reading but the more people checking the better. Maybe you're great with numbers and stats or grammar, or just spot a graphic isn't showing up properly. Please make a list of errors and report them by page number, column, line and then notes such as

Page 45, column 2, line 34: 'swrod' should be sword

Please submit them to support@modiphius.com with the heading CONAN ERROR REPORT by Sunday 18th November latest.

To his friend a man
a friend shall prove,
To him and the friend of his friend;
But never a man
shall friendship make
With one of his foeman's friends.

PP 334, Abomination, Unspeakable (Horror, Nemesis) should be "Abomination, Unspeakable (Nemesis, Horror)".

Okay, so I'm finding multiple cases where errors I previously pointed out have not been corrected. And these are actual errors, not disagreement over prose style or syntax. For example, pp 261, "...they should not know not in any fashion..." should have the second "not" removed, otherwise it's gibberish.

I know this isn't exactly an error, but there isn't an index. If you planned on adding one after all the proof-reading, my mistake, but otherwise, the book feels kind of weird without one.
