To his friend a man
a friend shall prove,
To him and the friend of his friend;
But never a man
shall friendship make
With one of his foeman's friends.

The white font is really hard to read

Esteban: That looks like a problem with your PDF reader as the background to that section should be a solid green like other sidebars.

How much Doom does the GM start with? I thought this chapter would comment on this and it doesn't. The Quickstart says it should be equal to the number of Fortune Points.

@Luke JW.

If I remember correctly, that was dependent on the amount of player characters in your group. You need to find the chapter where it states how many Fortune Points they each get. If they get 3 Fortune Points, and there are 3 players that would mean you'd start out with 9 Doom.

Yes. That's as stated in the Quickstart as I noted. But its not contained in the GM Chapter or any other preview chapters as far as I can see, and if not it should be included in the rulebook somewhere.

Page 303: The example has an error:

"For example, Athala has Thievery Focus 1. Acquiring talents from the Willpower talent tree cost 25 fewer experience points for her."

Willpower should be Thievery.

Is there another error on page 303 the example of the Discipline tree.

Courageous is the first Talent, it and cost 200 experience points. jaded is one step away from Stubborn so it also costs 200 experience points.

The it in that first sentence to me is not needed.

But the one that caught my eye is there is no stubborn in the tree. I think it was an older name for courageous, maybe?

In Chapter 2, during the "Stories" part, every player gains a Trait, which is used for Fortune points regeneration, as well as pointing towards the GM chapter for further information. The GM chapter has a small paragraph about those, but the specific traits are never mentioned nor explained.
Is that section missing, or are these traits actually not intended to be more than a bullet point to interpret ?

PP 274 - Non-Player Character Reactions: "While Hardened and Nemesis level non-player characters..." should read "While Toughened and Nemesis level non-player characters...".
