It's open to everyone. I'm sorry that I managed to give incomplete information.

Is there any intention to open up playtesting for some of the new content to people who have original copies of the game? I'd certainly be interested in putting some time into trying out some of the new ideas that came out of the Kickstarter.

Will there be a new version of the playtest kit sent out to us testers soon? We are eager to test more.

So I have been playing around with the old SotC game and trying to make the game better balanced in my group. Thought I would share some of my ideas here.
.
In "Co-op" mode use 2d8 to grid coordinate the DL units when flipping the card and then use the following AI parameters.
1. Event card: if effecting a single pair of DT then its the team with the most promotion points.
ENEMIES:
1. Can they attack without moving? Yes, then attack with all actions. No, then are they better at range or melee?
2. Better Ranged, attempt to move to get LoS in order to shoot. if multiple options present then attack DT unit with highest Promotion points. Both heroes on the Team an option? Player decides which one is attacked.
2a. Better Melee, attempt to move to closest hero and engage if any moves left.
what is better??? color of dice first and amounts second.
Each player will roll the attacks against their own units. (roll your own doom as it were)
.
.
BALANCE ISSUES
Grenade launcher now has six shots (represented by tokens on the card). These shots are replenished every mission for free. out of tokens??? use your standard gun!
.
The auto injector and med bot now have 3 tokens on them allowing for that many uses in a mission. the med bot will replenish its amount in-between each mission but the auto injector will not. NOTE the "credit" is lost on the auto injector purchase and partial amounts cannot be turned back in for other/same gear
.
New item. 1 credit can get a DT 3 grenade tokens. these can given to either DT and 1 can be thrown up to *12 squares (*still debating range) for an attack of 3 red dice with the same splash rules as the grenade launcher. when all 3 grenade tokens are used they have the option to buy another set in-between missions. NOTE the "credit" is lost on this purchase and partial amounts cannot be turned back in for other/same gear
