It's the map boards that are worrying me - mine are already showing wear lines on the folds - Maybe these could be printed on rubber as an extra to the box set? (Or share the graphics with a wargame mat supplier?)
share units pics could be nice.
I am thinking to print units on Mini european size cards on Printer studio. Each unit could have his unit's mini cards like for Battle grounds games. I will a dice on the cards with statics for wounds. Each mini card will be storaged on the same sleev than the "statistics unit" card.

Has anyone come up with a more robust map option yet?
I haven't done it with the Airfix maps, but on some other games, I have laminated them with sticky backed plastic. It can be tricky and they don't fold up as good, but if you leave them flat they are fine and can even survive drink spillage.

We may look at releasing the PDF files for the maps so people can print them with local print shops on vinyl or thicker cards. The light weight poster maps helped us fit more in the box and keep the cost down to the magic £25. We have a set we use a lot for demo's and they still in good condition. One thing is to make sure you always fold them back the way they unfolded to avoid stressing the creases too much

Wow that would be great if you could release the PDF files for the maps. I would like to have a vinyl map or even look at printing on fabric.
I did contact a local print shop today and asked if the maps could be laminated, they told me they could encapsulate them for £5 each, these would make them last forever!

Hi, PDFs of the maps would be super - I'd certainly like to get mine printed onto a vinyl mat - or have you considered doing a deal with a mat supplier?
We're not really looking at having vinyl or neoprene mats printed just yet. That's something that would need to be looked at later on. You might consider the mats made for Dust 1947. They're neoprene, with desert terrain printed on it and marked off in squares, a little larger squares than we use, but not bad.
