Wow @DanielU.Thibault, you were busy today. I really have to say that the vast majority of those edits make it much easier to read. Several of them made me think to myself, "that's why I read that sentence so many times." I couldn't always figure out what was wrong with them to be able to propose a good change, but great suggestions!

I like to think I'm good at what I do.

Page 134, "These are described in Mounted Combat, following." should be "These are described in Mounted Combat, below."

Page 135, "as most of the beasts’ strength is given to drawing the cart or wagon behind them." should be "as most of the beasts’ strength is used to draw the cart or wagon behind them."

And this concludes chapter five.

A thought about Dual Wielding (@LucaCherstich): If you have two weapons, many complementary actions will be much more difficult: jump over a small fence or other obstacles, grab someone, use your items, hold your wounds (prevent bleeding), push the chair against your opponent... Our off-hand is an universal tool. It's also true in real life close-combat, and one of the main reason behind that Dual Wielding was not really popular in the past (except shields, of course).

In Conan, the game master may ask you D2 test instead of D1 to climb that ladder, if you bring up that extra dagger... but if your secondary weapon is a battle axe, you might be out of luck. (D3+?)

I like that @Mészáros Gergely!

A conséquence of having just one zone separate Close, Medium, Long and Extreme ranges is characters can move to engage missile weapons users with just one action, perhaps before the missile user can act. It looks like an arbalest has a range of just Medium and so anyone can move from beyond range to up-close and personal with a standard action.

Perhaps consider separating movement and range. Moving 1 zone is a minor action, moving 2 zones is a standard action as indicated on P117. Ranges might be a number of zones, for example Close = current zone, Med = 1-2 zones away, Long = 3-5(?) zones, Extreme 6-9(?)

Remember that ranges aren't maximum ranges, merely optimal ones - you can use an Arbalest from further away, but the difficulty of the attacks increases (and a Talent can reduce the difficulty increases from range).

Beyond that, it's a dangerous proposition increasing the distances that ranged characters can effectively kill from - too far, and you render melee less valuable or even worthless, and we don't want that for a Conan game. Shorter effective ranges mean that there are fewer situations where ranged attacks dominate because melee characters get shot several times before they get hit.

If you're worried about an NPC getting cut down in melee before they get to shoot, spend Doom to make them interrupt the action order and shoot first.

Okay, I can see that. I think that helps a lot and the ranges make more sense to me now.

Resources p125 refers to Reloads. Elsewhere called Loads

On page 117, in the miniatures sidebar, there seems to be a change of font towards the end of the sidebar.

Pg 130, under Damage for Displays, it says "Presence Damage Bonus" when it should read "Personality Damage Bonus".

Pg 131 under Dead Man's Stare, it mentions "Elite or Nemesis enemy killed during that scene". Elite should be Toughened

I think a sidebar/bulletpoint explanation of how to make attacks would be good for this chapter. For example, see pgs 21-22 of the Quickstart

I don't think this has been mentioned; even if it has, it bears repeating: do include some combat examples in Ch 5 if at all possible, for ranged, melee and threaten.

PP 128 - Second paragraph, first sentence "Two kinds of Soak resist Mental damage: Confidence provides persistent Soak...". 'Confidence' should be replaced with 'Courage'.
