Eradicator deathdroid

posted Dec 30, 2015 09:05:53 by RickardFriskEngelbrektsson
Hi guys,
I must be blind, I've been searching the books and can't find the stats for the Eradicator deathdroid chassi in either the core rulebook or the Cybertronicbook. It's referenced on p 81 and 83 but no chassi.
Now my question: Did I miss it? Will it show up in another book? What happened? Too me the Eradicator is one of the most iconic features of Cybertronic. There is a warzone mini for it so one would expect it in the rpg as well, wouldn't one?

I'd love an answer.

Simple lack of space - there's only so much room in each book, and the Eradicator wasn't something there was space for.

I hope that ED will show up in some other sourcebook. It is sad that there was no place for one of the most iconic units from Cybertronic and MC/WZ (stats do not take much place after all).

I guessed as much, but what made me confused was the reference in the sourcebook that putting a cuirassier core in an Eradicator made it seem less intelligent. I could then find no chassi. Are there stats that could maybe be published on the forum? That is if you already made them.

I've not written them - they were fairly low priority compared to things more likely to see use in game (and putting a Cuirassier core in an Eradicator was an example, one demonstrated by the various other Cuirassier bodies in the book - the bigger the body, the lower the practical intelligence, as the core uses more processing power just running the body and has less to devote to rational thought). The stats take up more space than you think - tables are more awkward to place than raw text in the finished layout, after all.

I'll just have to build my own then, I'll check the old books and try and find a nice balance. Thanks for answering, awesome!

When you write it up, can you post it in the homebrew thread?
