Character Creator

Another question: If the printing works, will it be with the cluttered background (turns out grey on my black n white printer) or with a white background?

A couple of days ago, a friend and I used the fillable Character sheet, but after more than an hour, when we were ready to print it, no such option was avaliable. I tried to right-click and chose "Print image, but only the checkboxes got printed, nothing else.

Here are the facts:

- Added Quick Character generation. Tune some of the choices and press the button to get an instant character. The point is to have it as simple as possible, so there won't be an extensive amount of choices here. Let me know if you spot anything inconsistent.

- Added printing guide to Fillable Sheet and Character Sheet (shown when you press Print at the finish page).

- Fixed bugs that were apparent in the previous version and reported by you, thanks for that btw!

- Capitol is in, hoo-a!

Hi Fantastic app created my first character all the way through to print
but when i tried to create a second one it immediately goes to the print form
any chance the character sheets could be exported to PDF ?

Did you do anything differently when creating the second one?

You can print to PDF if you have something installed that allows you to do so, or if you are using Windows 10 (which has Print to PDF built-in).

Nope think it must be in related as I tried 3 different browsers and cleared th cache only of them

Just tried from my phone and still just get the step 9 rather than the start

Hm. I believe it was said that if we were to choose the point buy system, we wouldn't be allowed to roll dices at all but instead we have to buy the result wherever it is possible. It also should be possible to choose the result instead of just rerolling (for example Faction Events) since it is with GMs approval.

Hmm, one could interpret the text about Optional Point Buy system in the way that no rolling is ever done. Never thought of it that way.

Yes, export is severely broken.

Also, when I try to create quick characters, if I choose anything but random in most of the dropdown menus, the CREATE CHARACTER button fails to work (TIMELINE and FACTION menues seems ok though.

If I only choose one of the decisions (i.e. one of the dropdown menues), it might work, but any more than one renders it impossible to use the CREATE CHARACTER button.

When I do a point buy character and it is time to choose education (the options beneath the text: "What kind of education has your character recieved?") nothing happens when I push any of the buttons.

When I try to make a regular character, the generator skips the entire process and puts me at step 9: Review character step.

What browser are you using?

The Point Buy system no longer allows rolls, forgot to mention that update :)

Seems like I forgot to remove my test stuff, again... Memory is short and bad ;)

Selecting normal life path now works properly, sorry about the inconvenience.

I´m using Chrome.

Not sure which of my questions you´re answering here... I was referring to the fact that, when using point buy character generation, as stated in the latest core rules that I have, if the Gamemaster agrees, the players should have an option of being able to choose which event to take instead of just rerolling. If this was the question you were answering, then I suppose you've got so many other things to attend to so that you haven't got time yet to insert that option in the point buy character creation, because the generator is still randomly rolling events in the Point Buy variant.

Other than that, great that Capitol is in. Which Corporation is next?

Hm... I tried making a Doomtrooper in the quick Character Maker but s/he turned out unemployed instead?!?

I've tried making a character both the normal and optional ways, it keeps getting stuck on education.
Also the auto character generator won't make a character if I make any selections on it.
