Still no gunners listed for Loughton Leviathan's 6 Autocannon Batteries. How should they be manned?

Noticed there's no encumbrance or reliability listed for the Jet Chute.

Ur Rune Magic, pg. 115

"Permanent: The blade is invigorating to wield, as it steals the
vigour of those it wounds. For each Dark Symmetry Icon spent when
attacking with this weapon, the wielder regains one Light Wound to
any location."

What does it mean for a Dark Symmetry Icon to be spent? Should this read per Dark Symmetry Icon rolled, or perhaps per Dark Symmetry Point spent?

Just a reminder: Both the above still not corrected in v2.

Also, should there be a note about joining Vengeance Company?

There's no space available to put any rules content in for Vengeance Company; I'm reluctant to put in rules references and links that go nowhere (beyond a few small ones, like the career permissions for Rune Magic, when there aren't any careers in the book that provide such permission - this leaves it open for future expansion).

Was there a reason so many of the Iconic Careers found in this book previously were pulled? I noticed Clan Noble, Boffin, Serenity's Envoy & Juniper/Blackthorne Agent were all missing.

Two pages of content had to be excised for space reasons, even after removing the adventure. Iconic Careers (two to a page, uniform page use) were an easy option, as was losing the spacecraft section. I pushed to keep the spacecraft, as space travel is so significant to Imperial, so I picked four Iconic Careers that didn't already have artwork to remove.

The book can only be so large, and Imperial is already a very tightly-packed book.

A shame the careers had to go.. made the Imperial book less interesting IMO... :( I'd loved to have seen the Rune Magic section go, feels out of place in this supposed itty gritty world of Mutant Chronicles (much like Ki does).

Will they return in another book?

I must admit, while I understand page constraints, I'll miss them as well. I also find it strange that the fluff paragraphs for them remain later in the book, but the rules themselves are gone.

Removing content from a laid-out book is as tricky as adding it - unless you're able to remove whole pages, it requires changing the layout. Removing odd paragraphs here and there is more disruptive than removing iconic careers (which are always two to a page, so removing one leaves a consistent amount of space).

We're not 'throwing away' any content (and we're likely to use all excised content at some later stage), but we want to focus on getting the planned waves of content out before we start doing anything else beyond that.

Correction to add gunners to Loughton Leviathan in v3 appears to have accidentally deleted the 1 (crew 3) commander and engineer...

One question, and I think it's better to ask here:

Is there a plan to add rules for playing highlanders in future supplements? I ask because they are mentioned in the Imperial book but have no rules, no primary career.

There was literally too much stuff to cover rules-wise in the Imperial book. Indeed, all the books so far have had things we'd like to have done but haven't had the time or space for.

Right at the moment, any plans beyond the stuff unlocked through the Kickstarter are vague and speculative - things we want to do - but we obviously have to focus on Kickstarter stuff first. I know that there are a number of Imperial character options that I want to go back and cover.

The first Wave, including Imperial, will be released soon. The main book is out, and Wave 1 is being shipped to backers as we speak (so it'll be out soon too).
